(OOC)I'm just enjoying trying to navigate around this situation and discovering a "voice" for my character. This, of course, may not be ideal if you wish to test rules so do we need to be arrested and carted off to the arena to test the combat rules or will be sub-nar's forces break into our lodging and provoke some form of conflict? (/OOC)
[@Kobold: I'm in no hurry and there is no set or intended outcome for the situation. Several options for moving ahead have been presented and at least one other has been whispered. I just felt that the current negotiations need to play out and the next turn will set in motion events based on the outcome.]
(OOC) Arto appears to be emerging as a leader of at least 1/2 of the group. I'm cool with that because in these asynchronous posts, somebody is going to have to collect ideas and propose the final move. :)Anyway, Jesamin's suggestion still holds. What say the others? And do we want to begin chatting up the other table in this turn or wait for the next?
(OOC) The 4 of us seem to be coming over to the table of the whispering conspirators. The shen will be moving to block the escape of our newfound source of information. We're waiting to see who addresses us and who makes a better offer. Going to the arena is no big deal, if it is worth it, but if we're the only ones risking, we're the only one benefitting from that risk. Extracting information from Ser Chenu wouldn't be very difficult. We could make a bit of cash form turning him over to his debtors. Of course we'd have to ensure his silence in that case. Bringing him along is best. If he lies, he gets his liver converted into pate by Cookie. We'll share.
